McKenzie See-Holbrook
I’m McKenzie See-Holbrook, and I’m a junior at Forsyth Central High School. I have been a part of the school newspaper for two years and I decided I wanted to be a part of the Central Scene at the end of my freshman year because I wanted a way to express myself, and I feel like writing has been an outlet for me for several years. I was born in Roswell, Georgia on January 29th, 2001 and I have lived in Cumming, Georgia all of my life. I have enjoyed my time at Forsyth Central because of all the different clubs, teams, and people that inhabit the school. Our newspaper is a very small group with about nine people in it, but we all care about writing and for some it has become a passion. With our class being so small we all really connect and help one another with critiques and article ideas and everyone’s opinion is heard. Our journalism class is my favorite class and to me it is a safe space. I get to write about things I am passionate about. This class has honestly became my absolute favorite time of the day. It is filled with caring people, an amazing teacher, and incredible writing.
