Does what I do make a positive impact? This is a question I often ask myself. I have experienced the majority of my life in the same setting with the same friends and family. I was born in Buckhead, GA in 2003, and moved up to Cumming after my sister was born in 2005.  My mom, dad, and sister are all a part of my earliest memories. They are definitely the biggest influences on who I am today. I am also a member of Cumming First United Methodist Church and have experienced most of my life being part of that community. I have been very lucky to be surrounded with great family, friends, and leaders all of my life.

I have been raised in a loving environment where I am free to speak my mind and I know I am cared for. I want to live my life and be known as a kind, loving and accepting person. My main goal is to be there for whoever needs me in every situation. Maybe my articles and writing cannot directly help me to be there for others, but maybe they can help people feel understood. My writing goal is to be informative and not to be biased. This can be a challenge for me as I am usually very passionate in my opinions. I do not want my writing to force anyone to change their opinions, but I do want it to make people think about the topic. Being a writer is a process that I hope will help me grow as a person and also help my readers grow. My wish is that something I write this year will inspire you to make a difference!
